Selection Of Single-Jet Cold Water Meter And Working Environment

Single-jet Cold Water Meter selection points, Single-jet Cold Water Meter is composed of remote water meter, controller and solenoid valve. The main control parameters selected for the water meter are flow, common flow, overload flow, small flow, boundary flow, nominal pressure, large allowable working pressure, pressure loss, etc.      

1) . the working environment of water meter shall be considered first for selection of water meter, such as water temperature, working pressure, working time, measuring range and water quality. Then, the diameter of water meter shall be determined according to the design flow through the water meter to produce the pressure loss close to or not exceeding the specified value. In general, when the nominal diameter is not greater than DN50, rotor type water meter shall be used; when the nominal diameter is greater than DN50, screw wing type water meter shall be used; when the flow of water meter changes greatly, compound water meter shall be used. Wet water meters shall be preferred in interior design.            

2) . when the water is used evenly, the nominal diameter of the water meter shall be determined according to the designed flow rate per second not exceeding the common flow rate of the water meter. When there is fire flow, it is necessary to check the flow to ensure that the total flow does not exceed the large flow limit of the water meter.            

3) . the nominal diameter of the household water meter of the newly-built house can generally be 15mm, but if the house is equipped with the self closing toilet flushing valve, the nominal diameter of the water meter should not be less than 20mm to ensure the flushing strength.
