The single-jet meter is based on a vertical axis turbine with a single passage directing water to the turbine and another directing water from the turbine. The flow of water acts on the turbine in a paddle wheel fashion. The turbine rotation is converted to a volume reading via the gearing of the counter.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The water operates on the velocity principle that a jet of water enters the water meter body and drives the impeller. The impeller is suspended by hydrodynamic forces to give minimum load on the bearings. The impeller rotation is magnetically transmitted to the register which the reading is made.
APPLICATION:
This Single-jet type of speed water meter is a impeller water meter with magnetic transmission and used to measure the total quantity of cold potable water which consumed in household or a resident unit, passing through the pipeline.

Magnetic drive,small brass body, inlet strainer, light weight.
Register in 8 digits & 1 red pointer, sealed dry dial register ensures frost resistance and keep clear reading for long time.
Register can rotate free 360° for easily reading in any position.
The impeller is the only moving parts in contact with water permitting the most reliable.
The body can be plastic painted or chrome coated, or nickel coated for optional.
Suitable for horizontal installation R80 and R100 or vertical installation R25.
For hot water up to 90℃ is available.
Plastic body, incline register 45°, external regulating device for optional.

Technical data conforms to ISO 4064:2015 Standard for horizontal or vertical installation.
Threaded connections comply with BSP Standard.

MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE ERROR:
In the lower zone from Q1 inclusive up to but excluding Q2 is: Cold potable and hot water meter ± 5%
In the upper zone from Q2 inclusive up to and including Q4 is: Cold potable water meter ± 2%, hot water meter ± 3%
