DESCRIPTION:
The water enters the meter from the inlet of the meter body and impacts the vane wheel at the tip of the vane blades to make it rotate. The water flows out from the outlet of the body. The rotation of the vane wheel(proportional to the velocity of water flow) is transmitted directly to the central gear in the vacuum-sealed register by the magnetic drive. The sealed register totalizes and indicates the water volume passing through the meter.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The water flows through the meter’s inlet and into the measuring chamber where it drives the impeller. A drive magnet transmits the motion of the impeller to a driven magnet located within the sealed indicator. The magnet is connected to a gear train which translates the impeller’s rotation into volume totalization displayed on the register dial face.
APPLICATION:
This type is multi-jet dry-dial type water meter with magnetic transmission and used to measure the total quantity of cold potable water which consumed in household or a resident unit, passing through the pipeline.
This type also is the world’s favourite residential water meter, with over 100 million already delivered in service in over 100 countries.
